Chilworth Community Cinema is now one year old.
From the first film, the community cinema has been a roaring success, with it’s strong social side, classic films and first class refreshments at an affordable price.
With the aim of bringing the community together, and raising money for local good causes, the cinema is run by Diane Kenny and is supported by a merry band of volunteers and Chilworth2gether. It has shown a variety of classic films, and has new ideas for next year, including a Family Cinema. it offers wine, beer, cider or tea, coffee or hot chocolate to drink, and Losely Ice cream in the interval. As a special treat, Jackie Goode baked a splendid birthday cake, and theatre gets were treated to a celebratory glass of Prosecco.
